Creamy Salad Dressing

Salad dressing gives taste variation, as well as color and texture to greens leaves and chopped vegetables. Creamy saladdressing, such as popular Caesar salad dressing , French salad dressing, and ranch dressing. This report includes creamysalad dressing product, mostly Caesar salad dressing made from various country brands.

Difference in Saltiness and Sourness

Figure 1 shows Total of 9 salad dressingproducts from Germany, Australia, the UnitedStates, and Japan in scatter plot, using[saltiness] and [umami] as axes. Caesar saladdressing products by Japanese company,[Fauchon],[McCormick] and [Kewpie] Caesarsalad dressing has stronger [Saltiness]compared to salad dressings from othercountries, creating stronger impact in tastewhen consumed. [Vino de Mio GorgonzolaPear] from the United States has least[Saltiness]. In case of [Umami], [KewpieCaesar Salad Dressing] is strong, creating arich and creamy salad to add on salad.


In Figure2, [Sourness] and[Richness(derived from low concentration ofbitterness] are used as axes. Here, Japanesesalad dressing products are located in lower[Sourness] area, indicating mildness. Incontrast, German salad dressing [DeveleyFrench Dressing] and Australian dressing[Salad Master French Dressing] have strong[Sourness]. In case of [Richness], productssuch as[Vino de Mio Gorgonzola Pear] that usesgorgonzola cheese has strong output,creating creamy and rich dressing to enjoy.


From the two figures, Japanese creamydressing has strong [Saltiness] yet low[Sourness] for mellow and strong tasting saladdressing. Other country's creamy saladdressing products, on the other hand, havelower [Saltiness] and stronger [Sourness] forlight yet tangy tasting creamy salad dressing.
